Well alrighty. The new cable lineup started this morning. The new boxes are breaking federal law by not providing parental controls,I can't delete the ghetto channels they added when I scroll the channels, they took away my kids favorite channel and in order to get it back and get parental controls my bill will more than double to get the package that has CMT and extra fees for boxes that include parental controls. Still no ability to delete the ghetto channels, Obama networks or 10 Spanish language channels they added.
Yes I'm calling Direct TV asap.

If you know anyone in the market for a Nexus, Amazon has a deal today. 1 cent for customers signing a new agreement, $150 for those renewing an existing contract.

Wish I could get DirecTV... but only because of the NFL ticket. It's expensive but there's no other options to watch all NFL games thanks to their monopoly.

I'm not willing to rent their forced boxes to be able to use what I'm already paying for. Imagine if Verizon added a $10 a month charge per line to be able to use the cellular network you already pay for . It was fees like that that caused the ATT anti trust lawsuit to come about because enough people complained. I'm letting my wallet do the complaining on this one.
For the last decade +, every year a bill is introduced in Congress to force TV providers to offer a per channel option, instead of packages only and every year it almost passes but the entrenched lobbyists manage to buy enough votes to keep it from passing . If it ever passes the NFL will be forced to allow other providers access to the NFL games as well as allowing us to buy only the channels we want. Yes it would cost more per channel but the networks that suck would either get better, making them worth having or would go off the air.

Acts of Valor was just released on Apple TV. Just purchased and watching it now. I've been waiting to see this. Heard nothing but good about the flick.

Our Seal team from San Diego was in that film.

Yup. Spoke with a friend of mine that is a SEAL in Virginia about the movie in November. I respect all military, but those soldiers are simply on a different level.
So glad I bought the movie. It's simply amazing. On all levels.
Anyone that doesn't shed a tear at the end simply has no soul. Period. Especially when they ran the names of the SEAL's that have died since 9/11. 60.
