Plenty of alternate browsers out there, I'm sure there are ICS ROMs so you could use Chrome.

Tab 2 already has ICS on it, so I'll check on that with Chrome. Good thought. There must have been something wrong as the loading time was just too much.

Well, I stopped by Best Buy to look at the Galaxy Tab 2 today fully intending on buying one. But I found a major problem with it. Saw some reading about how slow the browser was, but nothing said just how slow it was. It was terrible. As in, almost unusable. I'll try it one more time at a different store, but without being able to try alternative browsers on it at the stores, that's a deal breaker. Which sucks because I actually liked the rest of it.

But seriously, if the web browser sucks, that takes out a majority of the use right there. Damn it.

Unfortunately, Best Buy is not good place to demo those Tab and devices. I'm not sure if it's because they got touched so much by so many people who don't know what they are doing or whatever, and they don't get reset. The few times I played with them, they are not good representation of how well the Tab runs. The stock browser on the Tab is pretty speedy on ICS and Chrome is very fast!

That's what I'm starting to think as well. Think I'm going to bit the bullet. Not decide if I'm patient enough for $30 in savings or just buy it tomorrow.

Already saw SPB Shell is also available in the Tab also and looks beautiful. Good thing I've got to get Mary's mothers day present tomorrow as well. LOL

It was honestly the only one I used on the Inc 2 before I replaced it. I LOVED it. Great eye candy and very configurable. The graphics were simply unreal. Look at the videos of it online on Youtube.

It is a "pretty" launcher, if you're into that...
LOL just kidding, it is nice, I had it as well for a while, I just found Go Launcher to be so much easier to set up, especially as much as we have been changing ROMs lately.
But, if you're not a crack flasher like Twee, Randy and me, then go with SPB, it's a fine piece of programming.
