Good weekend, long day. Got two of the three projects I wanted out today. Need one more to go out pretty quick tomorrow.

End of the night didn't end great as Mary got a little upset thinking about some old friends that have burned us. I can work around things, but it has her rather upset. This sucks.

You forgot "long term better". Way too many mistake the once the honeymoon love has taken a backseat for the marriage being over. The truest " better" comes after the honeymoon phase if couples will allow it to happen.
Karen and I were luckily too stubborn to divorce when we hit that wall of not being able to get along no matter how hard we tried after the honeymoon phase was over. Trials and tribulations make it stronger if it's allowed to grow

So I'm out walking, pulling Madelyn along in her wagon when she says "look at that beautiful yard" .there's 2 yards 1 looking all manicured and green, the other weed filled and 2' tall. The man in me thinks manicured, the dad in me thinks she doesn't understand manicured lawns yet and the kid in me won out and said yes those flowers (dandelions, clover, chick weed, etc) sure are pretty but which yard are you talking about. She said "the one with the flowers cookoo head, why would someone want an ugly yard like ours with no flowers in the grass"

Bet she'd like my gophers as well, they are nice and fuzzy and add to the dandelion in the grass motif

My yard would be perfect, except for the POS gopher... Any ideas on getting rid of them??? I just feed them now with gopher food, otherwise called Gopher Poison...
