I got it for Madelyn. She's forever asking what bird is what, what's that noise when birds chirp, etc. Living where we live we've got quite a variety and some of the flora I'm trying to grow and projects we build are to attract more birds and bats.
I figure I probably won't ever need the offline add on just did it for speed comparisons. The Tab via DSL took a little over an hour to download.

Looking back at when the kids were little, with all the questions of why and how. Even when are we going to be there, I miss that.

Randy, I now don't have to lie when she asks me how I know this stuff and say it's because I paid attention in school.
I also added show to my Fire tonight for more ability to answer her questions.
I really enjoy her mind, how inquisitive she is and am amazed at times of her logic,perception and reasoning skills. She's already smarter than me, though that's not hard to accomplish.

It reminds me of the Readers Digest how to books my mom got when I was a kid. They were a home owners survival and repair guide covering everything one could think of that needed doing or fixing.
