The best thing about being rooted with this phone is the ability to load the LTE toggle... I know there are area's here were 4g is spotty my phone would be constantly bouncing back and forth and using up battery searching for the 4G. I just keep it off now until I go into the city while at home I am on WiFi so I am happy

I'm in 4G everywhere but my house, walk out the door to my truck in the driveway and I have 4G, unless with their "upgrade" the other day...
So thus no toggler needed, what is the toggler app, just in case, unless you just change to cdma in settings...

Tab users, which of the tabs have ICS ROM's available? Does the 7" Galaxy or any idea? I really intend on sticking smaller as the 10" is taken with my iPad. This would be an intermediate to play with. If I ever get paid by anyone again, sorry bastards, I'll pick one up. Still leaning towards the 7" Galaxy. I was figuring the ROM's were size specific but wasn't sure.

Toss the iPud and get a 10inch.... 10s better than 7, and 10 has ICS, as mine already does
Twee said her 8.9 is on ICS as well.

Get an Android, I've got the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with AOKP ICS 4.0.3.
I love it, there are the next generation Tabs coming out now, so you can possibly get the current 10.1 for less???
MbMark has the 10.1 as well and Twee has both 10.1 and the 8.9.
I'm sure that they will give you much better information than I as they have had them longer.

I have not seen an ICS ROM yet for the Galaxy 7 Plus or the original 7" Galaxy. The specs on the latter is not that good IMO to run ICS. Samsung did say that the Galaxy 7 Plus is slated for ICS update in the up coming months.

They also announced the Galaxy Tab 2 (refresh of the original 7" Galaxy) about 10 days ago. That one is going to come with ICS but don't expect it to be in the $200 price though and no official release date yet either.

I'm not sure what I'd do, one of the primary reasons, besides the larger screen and ICS, I chose the Nexus is the immediate root possibility, and I wasn't completely happy with the phone until it was rooted. Just a mental thing I believe... We're all a bit mental...
