Incredible User In Near Future

Hello Everyone, I am new to the site, I get my Incredible someday this week. I would like to know anything that you guys wish you knew before you owned the phone. I still have time to choose which phone I want. (Verizon Network only). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.s. I hear alot of rumors about battery life. I am an AVID texter coming from the enV Touch, so how is the keyboard? And how do you like the optical joystiq? Once again, any help will be very appreciated.

Welcome to the site. I dont use the optical joystick much. mostly to navigate the cursor through text like a set of arrow keys on a keyboard. The keyboard is pretty good out of the box, but I have replaced it with Swype. I'm getting pretty good at swype. The battery life isnt that bad. I use mine quite a bit and it gets better after a little time. I did upgrade to the Seidio 1750mAh battery.

Approximately how many hours did you get with the stock battery? And Swype...I don't quite understand how it benefits, its seems longer and difficult, but then again this is coming from someone that hasn't used it.

I usually get a whole day from one juice but it depends and i would definitely recommend swype as a great alternative to the stock keyboard. It can really help you type long sentences and words pretty speedy as i am now. Its hard at first but you'll get the hang of it.
