    NewB from SoCal

Hello everyone.....New B here from So Cal.

Have had my Incredible since the Thursday it came out and have been loving it ever since.

The only problem (not really a problem) I had with the phone was learning to either use or not use an Application Task manager. The forums are littered with misleading information and I could not figure out why it was they even existed if they weren't needed like everybody suggested. Besides that, glad to know this forum exists and happy to be joining the family

    Welcome to the forums!

SoCal here as well, San Diego!

IMO- Advanced Task Killer is not necessary. Some people say it saves their battery life. I personally don't use or have it installed, and my battery last quite a while.

"Seriously, no Carl's Jr... no In-and-Out..."

That sounds like heaven to me, living in grey, smoggy L.A.. Sure seems like the California contingent is well represented here.

Hmmm. Just got a great idea for social networking. Having local meets, gettogethers (whatthehell, everyone else is doing it). But we pass around date, time and google coordinates with street view of course, and then we all hone in on the party. Nobody knows who has or hasn't a droid when you get there so everyone sets their alarms for the same time and everyone will look around like idiots "is that you" uh "no, not me, is that you"? Maybe a Mel brooks movie instead.

But it sure is a great phone. Had mine for a week now and, since last night, breaking in a larger battery.
