Hey everyone! I just joined today after getting off the phone with an amazing VZW Customer Service rep. I wish I could remember his name, but he pushed my upgrade date up 2 months and let me early upgrade to the Incredible. It will be here by Wednesday! I can't wait.

congrats on your upgrade, question though did you have to pay the 20 dollars on the early upgrade, or did he say on how it would affect you 100 dollar rebate for the new every 2? not the rebate for the phone but the rebate for the upgrade?

I did not have to pay anything extra to upgrade early, I just lucked out and got a rep who was willing to do a favor for me. I may have forfeited my NE2 rebate because the rep didn't actually mention anything about it, but that's fine as it was only $50 I believe (it went down from $100 this past year, didn't it?). He just billed the phone to my account and said I will have to fill in the mail-in rebate, I believe the only number I heard him mention was $299.

oh cool, and i don't know if it went down i upgraded on the 29th and i got 100, either way i would have paid regular price on this phone it is the best congrats again, and i'm pretty sure you forfeited the ne2 because the credit is added immediately to the purchase

That is fine, I was too anxious to get a new phone, my enV Touch is horrible!

lol funny you should say that my gf wanted to get that phone because she didn't want to pay the 30 data rate but i told her 10 bucks wasn't going to get her much browsing and she'd end up paying 30 either way lol, i talked her into the incredible and she is loving it

Good work on your part.. I am only paying $15 more than I was paying since I had the $15 a month VCast anyway, so it's not crippling by any means. My phone's battery doesn't like to stay charged, it likes to power off and on by itself and be magically factory reset when it does that. So I'm good. I'm just anxious for Wednesday now!

How close were you to your upgrade? If you fulfilled 20/24 months you were eligible for the NE2 discount. If you had 20 months fulfilled i would call Verizon and see if you can get that $50 or $100 credited back to your account.
