Wireless tether ???

Here lately I have been having an issue with my inc. wifi hotspot hack acting up. I rooted my phone some time ago and am thinking about wireless tether. Couple of questions, can you watch netflix on it?? With the hack it comes up and says network problems. Can you go to https sites? When I try to go to https sites with the hack I get the VZW screen.

Is there a free version I can try before I buy one or the other?

Wireless tether is free on a rooted phone. You just need the apk to install it. Nothing to buy.

I found the post on wireless tether. Installed it last night but am getting pretty spotty coverage. Not sure if it is just my crappy signal or an issue with the tether. It just stops.

I will try it where there is a better 3G signal

Wifi tether works quite well when you have good coverage but just know that it is illegal to tether with out paying for a tethering plan and you may find your self paying a high bill to VZW for all the data you are stealing.

OK, so it looks like my WT is bouncing in and out of a connection with the computer. I can see it locked in on my task bar then it disapears and comes back. Anyone ever see that issue??

yeah wifi tether for root. Dropped it onto the root folder on my SD card and ran the apk file. Now it will engage and run but it keeps locking and unlocking on my laptop

i think wireless is rooted phone. if you have problem go wireless service and solve your problem..
