What I do is go into Paint and change them from a PNG to a JPG.

Shifty I was trying to copy your Set CPU profiles, I am using the Redemption ROM and the same Kernel as you, but I can only make my max 528. Is there some other thing I need to change to allow it?

Did you press menu > autodetect ?

No- entirely normal.

This kernel only clocks to 998

One other question, it seems that ever since I installed set CPU and set up the profiles my led notification light has been flashing. is this due to the program running on the dock?

I've never experienced that.

If someone has a technical explanation behind why SetCPU does not show 1 GHz (instead maxes out at 998 in this case) please post it here. Although the difference is minimal, it would be interesting to know if this was a kernel dev decision or SetCPU setting.
