Cm7 rc3 won't boot up

Hi guys, nice forum. On Monday the battery died on my dinc. I put it on charge and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning I tried to power on my phone and it made it to the cm7 boot logo and that's as far as I can get it to boot. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance for any help.

do you have a recent nandroid backup?

Unfortunately, I don't. Is it possible to get a stock rom?

i can boot into download mode. i can select recovery. i put the new cm7 on the sd card, but when i select "update from zip" it goes to the rom mgr logo and hangs there.

Somebody really has to compile all these boot loop problems to come up with common denominator.

Use the optical joy stick to select instead of the power button.
