Another Successful Froyo Incredible Skyraider 1.7

I just rooted and flashed my incredible, though I was a bit intimidating, it wasn't too bad after some research. Here's how I did it:

1.one click root courtesy of unrevoked. unrevoked
2. find the ROM of your choosing, I used advice and flashing instructions from: unrevoked

3. follow instructions on previous page, but to elaborate a little, put .zip file straight onto sd chip, no need to mess with it at all, mount your phone as a disk drive and transfer it over. reboot to the hboot menu and choose your rom. not hard, and its all laid out for you. Good luck!

Update: Skyraider 1.7 scored 716 on quadrant standard, semi disappointed I updated to the latest version 1.9, which immediately scored 1156! BOO-YAH! (stock 2.1 scored 520)

GPS works perfectly, Camera DOES NOT, voice recognition works perfect, over all impression is snappier, visual voicemail installed and seems to work, but I haven't gotten any messages yet, haha

Does the browser work

Browser works great. Flash works. Only things I have found that don't work on 1.9 is the camera (driver issue) and the FM radio (from what I typically mess with). The mobile hotspot doesn't work though (wireless tether app does) and I believe there is something wrong with the app2sd. I'm really impressed with this ROM and the only thing I really want is the camera working.

CM6 is amazing. Super fast. Every thing works except for the camera.

The camera will not work until a the driver is released or a new kernel is made by scratch. No Froyo ROM will have camera at this point. I believe Koush is working on it but I do not know how his progress is going. He seems to be focused on the Samsung Galaxy at the moment.
