I would go more off the realtime reviews of members on here than the reviewers posting online at this point. There are still possibilities of tweaks between the phones the reviewers got and the ones that hit final production. Further, the real people here that already are using theirs stand to be more of a real world use pattern such as what you and I would do than the reviewers online.
The reviews I read seemed 50/50 on battery time. I saw several saying they were better than the Droid.
BTW, the overclock review was written March 11, while Verizon was still very tight lipped about the final specs on the phone. Hell, about the existence of the phone at all, actually. The battery usage they're showing is more indicative of a full 1 gHz running processor than an underclocked.
I would almost bet its the full capacity.

I tend to agree with you looking at the dates. I do hope its full capacity. Mine will be in lie everyone elses on thursday

Either way in the reviews all of them say it is very fast.

Ive Played with the incredible it is very fast however on linpack it only scores 6-7k .. Where my droid score 8-9k

According to setcpu it is 998 MHz max and 245 min by default.
