It's worth every penny...![]()
This is a discussion on ICS Roms for the Incredible? within the HTC Incredible ROMs forums, part of the HTC Incredible Development category; It's worth every penny......
Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S III? I like the idea of removable sdcard, 8MP camera and the faster processor of the S III but am unsure on the colors(Blue or White). What do you think??
The 16GB S III is same price as the Nexus at $169.99 with my discount.

Samsung Galaxy S III
Rooted with CWM
Stock Samsung Boot Animation(No VZW Crap)
I chose the Nexus last December because it was one of the top of the line phones and readily rootable. I'm not sure if the Slll is readily rootable, that would be my only draw back to the Nexus, as the Slll is obvious full of the latest tech. If you are wanting root and lots of tweak-ability and a boatload of ROMS now possibly Nexus is the choice... Others here still on the INC are looking at the Slll as well, and will have more info on it. I'm still stoked on Nexus, it's my only drug of choice, besides maybe a tiny G & T
The Nexus also having 32gb has made space very nice, I've not come close to the full space and have a load of music and books, not to mention the work and personal photos...

I'm with Efin. I think if I were to buy now, I would still go with the Nexus, mainly because there is already root and lots of development for it. I really like the pure ICS look of the Nexus. I'm not crazy about having TouchWiz on ICS, if going with an SIII, one would have to wait for development. Having the latest is cool, but it really comes down to preferences. I still love my Nexus!
It has been a while since I've posted in general but I think a post here will be good. I recently flashed CM9 alpha 8, and I am really loving it. I only have a couple of issues with it and they are rather minor to be honest. The battery life, while fantastic, is severely reduced by the tendency of Maps to start and then not go away. The rom is lacking Auto-brightness functionality, maybe it's just my phone though, and the only other flaw is 3gp and mp4 videos will not play correctly. The video issue is only on non-youtube videos. If you have videos you want to play on the phone I recommend MX Player and then enable the S/W decoder.
Hope this is useful to someone,
