alerts for sms and google talk ??

Sorry if this is a noob question but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use ur own customized ringtones for email sms and Google talk.... thanks for any help

Not sure if this helps if you are using custom ringtones but I thought I'd give it a try since no one else has replied.... ( google talk/menu/more/settings/select ringtone ) I don't have any custom ringtones installed, my phone stays on vibrate most of the time so I don't know if it will see the ringtone you want to use in the default list, perhaps there is a way to move your custom ringtone to where the google talk app list default ringtones...???



EDIT: I found the notification file, you may be able to move your custom ringtone/sound to this file and then set it as the default ringtone... /system/media/audio/notifications
