Verizon unable to authenticate device error

hello all,

I flashed like 3 weeks ago miui 1.7.1.0, its a great rom.

when i first flashed i started having the unable to authenticate device error when i tried to make a phone call.
so i searched online and all i found is people getting a similar error but no answers to the issue. i tried reboot, tried taking the battery out i tried to do a *228 option 1 and 2 i even tried to flash back to the rom i had before nothing worked

So i called tech support
and asked them what the heck is up with my device and they told me that they had to reflash my credentials to me because my phone is
having a problems receiving them. Or something like that anyways it happened again to me last night and i had to spend like 20 min on the phone with a tech again just to know that all i need was another reflash does anybody have a solution to this answer.

i don't want to have to call a tech every three weeks to reflash

does anybody have this problem if so i am hoping in this forum you will see a solution because when i find
it i will post it or some else will.

i will continue to search the forums on line mean while if someone can help i would forever be grateful
