Removing facebook events from HTC incredible calender

Hi there,

I'm a noob and in Australia, so hoping we did not get different setting options.
I do not want facebook birthdays/events on my calendar. Please how can I stop it or delete it?

I have found some info on removing these events and stopping the content auto synching, but not detailed enough or specific to the Incredible S.

Please help me... I HAVE tried to find the info without making a totally new topic.

I don't have the Incredible S, but my guess is it is very similar to the Inc. Try going to Menu->Settings->Accounts & Sync then open Facebook for HTC Sense and then Remove account.

Alas, I have tried that Tweebz... the birthdays are still clogging my calendar and not deletable via normal calendar functions

That is right, they cannot be removed from calendar normally. You may have them set to sync with the Facbook app also. Open the Facbook app. Go to the homescreen where it shows News Feed, Profile, Friends, etc. Then Menu->Settings. Somewhere in there is another sync to contact setting that you'll need to turn off. I don't have my phone with me to be more specific.

Btw it's 'Twee' or 'Tweebee' not 'Tweebz'...

1. Go into your app drawer
2. Select calender
3. Press menu
4. Select more
5. Select calenders
6. Uncheck Facebook.
