    Bricked?? Help???

I recently rooted my Incredible (unrEVOked) but there were problems with receiving text messages, so I looked at the following video on how to un-root it ([VIDEO] HowTo UnRoot Incredible by downgrading - Android Forums). After loading the zip file in hboot, the phone went to a black screen and didn't do anything. Now my phone won't turn on. I did a battery pull and put it back in. The LED is amber color for charging. I push the power button, LED turns off, and it does that brief vibrate like normal when starting up, but nothing shows on the screen. I can't seem to get into recovery mode. Help?

From what you described, pushing the battery button does not take you into recovery.... Do a battery pull. Then power on using Vol. Down + Power buttons, describe what happens on your screen.

Not really sure what you meant by battery button, but I found another thread and the guy had the exact same problem and I fixed it. Thanks!

    yoniel17 try this link.

Downgrade to unroot. Huge No No! | doug piston

2.1 was never meant to be on an SLCD screen so if you have the newer inc that is likely your issue.

Blank Screen .. Only vibrates once

I am also having the same problem.
I somehow deleted my OS.. So I browsed few threads and tried to do the following.
formatted the SD card to FAT32
got the PB31IMG from net and put it on the root of the sd card.
Went to recovery mode. Install from the SD Card. ..It picked the PB31IMG file and asked if I want to install it.
    I said Yes.
I did tried to install for 3 mins and suddenly phone went blank...
So I waited for 5 mins and took the battery off and got it back in.

Now I phone does not even turn on.
    Screen is blank
The below buttons won't turn on.
Only the charge light is glowing when put to charge.

So I cannot even go to recovery mode.
    Plz help.
I think this is some issue related to incredible SLDC screen

There are many different files out there which have to be named PB31IMG when placed on the SD card. Which one, excatly, did you use?
Have you tired booting while holding the VolDown and Power buttons at the same time?

Hate to break it to you but the issue is probably impatience, not the screen. The RUU process takes a while and pulling the battery is probably the worst thing you can do. It's likely you corrupted the process by stopping it midway. If you can't get the thing to even turn on, there's not much anyone can do.
