new mother board fitted cant get past red triangle - help please

hi i have had some problems with my incredible s, firstly after doing a system update my phone would turn off and on every five mins, sent it back to htc who replaced the mother board, got the phone back and when i turned it on it wouldnt go past the red triangle with the exclamation mark i phoned htc who told me to reboot using the volume key this did not work was advised to return the phone again they replaced the mother board again and i am still getting the red triangle, i noticed a few other people have been getting this (but as my name may suggest) i know nothing about technology and so need step by step help please

The red triangle is the stock recovery. The phone shouldn't be booting to recovery when just being powered on. Since HTC is replacing hardware, there's probably something wrong with the phone that is beyond what we do here, which is mainly software. I would send it back again and complain, they'll probably send you an Inc 2.

thank you for taking the time to reply i really appreciate it, i have phoned htc again and they are going to replace my phone as this would have been the fourth repair, so happy days :-D
