    Question slow down after rooting?

    so i just rooted an incredible (with the owner present) and the first thing the person said after a rooted it was "man it slowed down" why did that happen? of course the first thing i told him was to overclock. also is there a stock rom that has bloatware already removed? he still wants gmail, google maps and the market but, he doesn't want skype, stock widget, city id, amazon mp3, etc... any ideas?

    rom manager?

    So do you guys just download the rom and then go through clockwork recover/sprecovery and then install or do you guys use rom manager?
    And why does the phone get laggy/slow down after rooting?

    The DInc doesn't get slower or draggy after rooting, not in my experience.

    Some people use ROM Manager to install a new ROM, some say that it's flaky and do the installation manually. I indifferently do it either way.
