Hboot Screen!?

I'm new to this site, and I've tried searching the other threads for answers, but no luck. Every thing I try doesn't work. I've rooted my phone and unrooted numerous times. I tried a rom off ROM Manager and my phone kept turning on and off. It never would load. I tried unrooting it again, but now it won't read the file. I'm so lost right now. Could someone please walk me through this!?!? I really want the new Gingerbread rom and I'm never touching it again if I can get that.

If you want one of the Gingerbread ROMs, you'll need to have root permissions so don't try to unroot. Have you read the ROM flashing tutorial? It will teach you to flash ROMs from recovery rather than ROM Manager, which is a nice and easy app to use, but can be problematic.

I read the tutorial but it won't do anything. I'm stuck on HBOOT and Recovery. I can't get past it =[

which ROM did you try off of RM?

I didn't make a backup! =[ I tried but it wasn't working so I gave up. I usually just root and then download everything over again. I tried putting another ROM on but no luck. I tried the unroot file you gave everybody and I formatted sd. It just says wrong image. I can't get it to work!

Then lets have you flash a stock rom with root...

Go to second section labeled as Stock Rooted rom

Download and get on your sd card then flash through recovery. Report back.

I'm so confused right now! I don't know how to do that. I've never had a problem before. Which stock rom? I can't get anything to work through recovery. Last time I got the stock rom it came with to come back, this time nothing.
