Help with Unrevoked 3.22 and stock incredible..not sure if phone is bricked

Hello all,

Went to use Unrevoked and everything was smooth..until I went to flash the custom recovery (SLCD) and I received an error "Device "sbin/sh: getprop: not found" is not supported at this time" the screen is stuck at the screen with the black screen and white bars. Hoping I've not just dug my own grave here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Carter you might find this thread helpful! just follow the directions!

I rooted and now I only see a black screen with white bars in recovery.

Hello NeurOtk,

Thanks for the advice..my major problem though is that the phone is frozen on that black screen and does not seemm to be able to power down. Should I remove the battery? Also as the screen is black I cannot see to change any settings on it at this point.

Yes, remove the battery

Boot the phone normally when you put the battery back in and follow the directions on how to push the slcd recovery image to your phone!
