Rooted My Incredible Am NOW Stuck

When I attempt to update the zip file from the sd card, I get the following: E:Can't open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory). Installation aborted. I believe that it is a problem revolving around the fact that I unplugged the inc without first unmounting it. I have uninstalled the device and reinstalled the hboot software still to no avail. Can anyone suggest something that doesn't require me to un-root and then try to root again?

I thought I was supposed to be doing this in order to set it up. I have superuser permissions, but it is just a blank screen. I launch wi-fi hot spotting and the browser takes me to Verizon's sign up site. I looked for a tool to help and found a video on youtube. I was only following the steps except that when he unpacked the zip file, it installed. My computer doesn't see the sd card on my phone.

So you want to tether to your device? "Wireless Tether for Root" downloaded from the android market is an app that will do that.

Is it PC software you are using or an app on your phone? When you enable wifi hotspot on the dinc it will want you to sign up for VZ data tether plan.
