OK, current status.
Wiped Dalvik Cache
Wiped Cache Partition
Wiped Data/factory reset
Installed Update-cm-6.0.2-Inc-signed.zip
Installed inc-test2.zip
All said completed, all done without rebooting phone
Rebooted phone and as soon as it finished, I got "The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
Any other ideas?
Is it the only error?
Is this at the main login screen where you input your gmail or the separate pop email app?
Comes up as soon as the phone finished booting up, when I unlocked it it was on the screen. It also pops up when I go to Accounts & Sync click the add account then corporate button.
Is there a particular reason for cm6? Might want to try another rom. Cm is a little touchy at the moment still and they are working through it. If you want a aosp rom might want to try ruby or miui.(miui looks and acts completely different though)
It was the one that was listed as stable in ROM Manager, so I figured I would try it out. I am about to give up and just stick with the old ROM I was using form factory
Can you post a link to the Ruby ROM?
I am honestly just trying to see what the custom ROMs are all about and having HORRIBLE luck![]()
OMG!!! It just hit me like a ton of bricks. LOL. Rom manager should still be on your device. Go there then Download rom>Cyanogen mod>Google apps(Froyo).
Do that and let rom manager flash it. Sorry I assumed you had this already but this should get you to your happy place. No need to wipe either.
