Do I need to re-root my phone?
Several months ago, I gave my rooted Dinc to my son when I upgraded to a T-bolt. Since we had to get Verizon to switch the numbers over, I was worried they would notice it was rooted so I went through the unroot process on this forum. Later, after getting my son's number ported over we wanted to go back to root so we could use TB and other root apps and ROMS. While digging around in the phone, I noticed the phone was still rooted but had S-on. (I guess I didn't get it completely unrooted.) I verified root through Root Checker. Now, we want to download some ROMS but do we need to re-root the phone to get S-off? If so, do we need to go through the Unrevoked process again or is there a way to just turn S-off? Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I searched around the threads for any answers but found none for this specific problem.

Do you have clockworkmod recovery? If so, you can just flash the s-off through CMW. You can download it here, http://downloads.unrevoked.com/forev...ed-forever.zip.
