HTC Incredible Delays Continue

Has anyone had any luck ordering directly from HTC?

I wrote up my little story:
Dear Verizon Wireless: Where is my HTC Incredible?
But the executive summary is it is shipping 1+ week later than they say, and Verizon Store and Corporate reps will lie to you.

I just talked to a Verizon rep and he said that they are allowing people to switch to the droid x and they expect that increase the ship out rate.

I also asked about the screen switch and he said that it would take some time to see if production would increase from HTC.

FYI, ordered 6/9 with scheduled shipping date 6/30; just received email that it has shipped (7/1).
