HTC Incredible Pre-Order BEGINS!

Verizon Wireless is now accepting pre-orders for the HTC Droid Incredible! The pre-order page went live shortly after midnight and still appears to be on track for an April 29th delivery date. The contract price is inline with what we were expecting at $199 after rebate, however the full retail price is less then we thought at $529.99.

If you gotta be the first to get the next Droid, get your credit card ready, and post in this thread letting us know your Incredible is on the way!

Unless you have some hookups, best you'll get is $169.99. That includes the $100 instant online rebate, plus $50 NE2 rebate.

I got that for the primary and $30 NE2 rebate for my secondary.

Must be different for some, I get $100 for my NE2 as primary, just checked my online account if I did the order now (which I am doing something in the next 2 weeks). So it will be costing me a net of $99 (before taxes and all that )

Just put in my preorder. I'll actually be doing the annual upgrade price of $199, but still beats the hell out of $529. I can deal with that. Turns out my NE2 kicks in later than I thought. Couple of months isn't worth $100 to me. Can't stand being late getting new toys.

Nope, full bar for NE2 plus we also received a letter stating VZW was giving an upgrade. Maybe I'll put in a call tomorrow if ya'll are getting $100.

I'm not getting it for $99 but that's because I'm not due for NE2. But yes my advice would be to call or go to the store the day it comes out. If you buy in a corporate store they can apply that $100 NE2 discount on spot so most likely you will pay the full $199 but then you will get a $100 mail in rebate to send in.

I am going to get this phone but when I login to my VZW account and go to UPGRADE PHONE all I get is the option to do a 2yr re-up. How do I change it to a 1 yr re-up and pay the $269? I've seen the 1 yr option before, not sure why I'm not getting it now.

I'm also getting offered the $199 even though my contract isn't up until Feb 2011. Am I getting the annual upgrade offered to me? What is the difference between NE2 and the annual upgrade. If I commit to 2 more years, does the calendar restart to the time of the change or get tacked on to the end of my current contract?

Any advantages of going with Best Buy for ordering this? I thought I saw in another msg board that if you order through VZW online, you'll get the phone on the 22nd? Any truth to that?
