When will the Incredible receive Android 2.2?

...I thought the idea of streaming music was very interesting. One can hope that one day I will be able to stream my music library from home over 3G and onto my phone, essentially replacing my Ipod...

Just a quick tip, you can use an App called Subsonic to stream music from your home computer to your phone. I just installed it the other day and works great over TMobile's 3g (I have a G1).

Thank you for showing that. Unfortunately it says "By years end" so they made no promises aside from that we will get it before 2010 is over but that would be unrealistic if Gingerbread (2.3) is really supposed to be slated for Q4 2010. I honestly dont think it will take TOO long to get 2.2 on the Incredible but im hoping within the next month or so we will have it. I would be laughing really hard if we get it before the Motorola Droid does.

My Pleasure - but that's what I was thinking, if they already have Gingerbread coming by Q4 then we will get 2.2 soon - and since they released 2.2, and they said the Desire and Incredible will be first, then we SHOULD be getting it soon! (I hope)

Another write-up was saying that the HTC phones would get it the second half of 2010. Didn't see anything about the end of the year on that one. Second half isn't bad, that's only about a month and a half out.

Exactly, They aren't giving an exact time stamp so they aren't setting themselves up for tons of angry customers. Basically saying Second Half 2010 is like saying "by years end" just in a different way lol.
