Contacts Question

My Droid Incredible had a low space message appear the other day and I was unable to use certain apps on my phone. I took it to Verizon and then my phone was unable to turn on after we took the battery out because it kept "reboot looping". I did a "hard reboot" or whatever its called where you turn the phone on with the joystick. It worked then I got to the main screen and did my account for Google and got "some" of my contacts but not all. I never really did backup on my contacts and the contacts I have now are from a while back I can see.

My question is, the few contacts I am missing from recently getting them is there anyway I can get them back? Is there anything else I can do myself or from a Verizon store? Thanks.

1. The contacts that you lost where phone contacts or Google contacts?
2. When you setup your phone for the first time did you sign up for the backup assistant?
3. Do you have any Vcard files on your sdcard? (they would have an extension of .vcf)

Unfortunately since it sounds like the guy at Verizon did a factory reset which means all phone data has been lost. This means any phone contacts that weren't backed up will also be lost.
