    message panel

    Is it possible to remove the message panel in order to have more room for other programs and widgets? I never text so it seems to be a waste of an entire home panel. Thanks.

    Yes, All that is, is a widget. Long press on it and drag it down to the bottom until it turns red and let go.

    Thanks, so after I remove the widget, I could use that space for other widgets?

    Correct. What I would recommend is scroll through your "scene" options. There's one at the very bottom called "clean slate". All seven pages are completely blank to add what you want.
