Question about kernels
I've been in the ROM game for a bit more than a year now but I am by no means any sort of expert. Recently, all I want seem to want to do is overclock my phone. From my understanding, this is done through replacing the kernel, correct?
If I am do to this, what should be some concerns? Do I have to worry about conflicts between certain kernels and ROMS? What else?
Right now I'm running IncRom 1.3 @ appr 1.11 GHz w/ 2.6..32.27-incredikernal-12232010... But I want more. Any advice? Am I being greedy?

The max you'll get is 1.2ghz and at that level your phone is likely to be unstable. It all depends on the build tolerance but I've seen very few phones that can take 1.2 for an extended period of time. Usually 1.13 to 1.15ghz is what these phones can handle on the current kernels out there.

Oh, and if you're using SetCPU, don't check the "Set on boot" option until you've thoroughly tested that your phone is stable at whatever overclock speed you're going to try.
