What do you use your internal memory for?

I have tons of music and pictures, but its all on my SD card. My internal memory does nothing for me since, when I use an app it only looks on my SD card. So whats the point of it now? I know in the future it may be different,but today what does my internal memory do for me?

I've been setting it for pics lately. That way don't have to be so concerned about losing pictures when I'm fiddling with the SD card.

But 3D gallery only grabs them from SD.

I don't really use 3D gallery that much so hasn't phased me. Is there no option to adjust where 3D gallery looks for pictures?

Beyond that, put more music on it. Another 6+ gB worth of space.

Well I use alot of 3rd party apps. 3d Gallery and Mixzing both only can look at the SD card. Alot of my apps cannot look on the phone for data. it's annoying since I only bought a 8gig SD because I thought the internal would work with all of my apps.

But there is no way to change where to look at.

Hmm, I would suspect they'll release updates in the near future to change that. Keep in mind, until the Incredible, they had no reason to make the programs look for items on internal memory as the memory simply wasn't there. There's going to be a transition time as programs are updated to take advantage of new, available features. Just give it a little time.

Ya, i didn't know how useful and fun the 3D gallery was compared to the plain looking HTC Photos. The most important part for me, is that it syncs automatically with my picasawebalbums. Which i have GBs upon GBs of photos, lol. The only downside is that u do have a camera option, but the resolution is way watered down. So you have to exit the gallery and manually go into the camera to get the full 8mb resolution. But its only a minor inconvenience.

I don't know what to do with my internal storage either. I have like 11gbs of music and like 2gb of photos and video. And i'm like ok i only have 2gb left on my sd card. I would like to take advantage of the internal memory, but i have no idea of what to do with it right now.

Put more music on the internal memory. You can split it up between the sources and it will find everything.

Oh ya, Hmm. I think i'll have to do that then. Thats a good idea. That way i can take more pictures and videos. I looked and the picture sizes are like 2.5 mb lol. before on my old phone (lg dare) they were like 200-500k, lol.
