No incoming call alert while on a call
I have call waiting activated on my phone line. On other phones I have used with this number I always get a beep when I have an incoming call while on a call. I just got my Droid Incredible last January and I'm loving it. However, I have noticed recently that my Droid Incredible does not have this feature, or I do not know how to make it work. As such I have missed many incoming calls while on another call; the calls came through, only that I did not get any notification and could not respond to it. Is there any way I can make my Droid Incredible notify me of incoming calls while on another call? Thank you for any answers to this problem.

I think i have had this issue where it would not beep or change the screen, but when I hung up I got a missed call. I also noticed it sometimes not ringing. Turns out it was because of crappy or spotty signal (or at least that's my best guess). When my signal is good it never happens, when I barely have signal it happens more often.
Try to test this be getting somewhere that you have fantastic signal and have a friend call you while you're on the phone.

I think 611 has to activate it? I think it's a setting they do or it's done in your voicemail settings . Mine stopped before I got my Inc and I'm glad it did.
Also make sure the contact isn't set to go straight to voicemail. Go to people and check out the contact, it's near the bottom

Good point - I tested this and signal is not the issue, though having wi-fi on and available seems to minimize or eliminate the probelm.
Also, it seems to have started for me when I started using Google Voice - and I know Voice hijack's your phone's voicemail box and maybe some other phone / network settings. Anyone else experiencing this issue with, or without, Google Voice running?

I use Google Voice and I hear a "click" when there's an incoming call. The problem I have is half my calls go to voice mail without the phone ever ringing.
