SD Card Not Recognized
I have an 8gb microSD card from my last phone, which works fine in my old phone and works fine in the SD adapter I have (no trouble adding or deleting data to it). The problem is that I can't get my new Incredible to recognize it. I unmount and remove the 2gb card that came with the phone and insert this one and it's like the phone doesn't see it. The mount new card command (under Settings) is grayed out. Any suggestions? Thanks

How is the new card formatted? FAT32?

I'd you find the answer please let me know as well.
I have an 8 gig from my Omnia that works well except my Inc doesn't see it either.
Yes formatted fat 32
The only thing I can figure is the body of the card is a hair thinner than the one that came with the phone and the one I took from my Dare so maybe it's not making the proper physical contact.

SD Card not read
Yeah, I had thought formatting might be the problem myself so I reformatted the 8gb card at FAT32 and that didn't do the trick. The Incredible is supposed to accept cards up to 32gb and the card fits fine into the slot, so I don't think size or thickness of the card can be the problem. I did see his very same discussion on another forum, but no answer, so I hope the HTC people monitor this and can suggest a solution. Has anybody been successful at making a larger microSD card work?

I have a 16gb Sandisk card here and no problem reading it. What brand is your card? I once bought an Sandisk SD card through Amazon from a 3rd party vendor for really cheap, and it turned out it was a scam, and the card was not genuine. I couldn't get anything to read that card. These days, I make sure I buy from a reliable vendor.
