having this problem over and over

First I thought I was flashing ROMS wrong ..but now I'm stumped ...my phone continues to do random restarts ....after I flash a new Rom the problem seems to go away for a bit unless I just don't realize but this phone continues to randomly restart on me....when I was using RRom it restarted mostly when I was on the phone with someone ...now I'm on virtuous and this restarts mostly at random ...so did skyraider...so I am guessing its not the roms...I don't know what else to do I need some advice ?

That used to always happen to me when I went from OMGB to CM6.1. If I plugged in my phone, it would randomly restart. And then at other random times, it would restart. After reading a couple of other threads, it turned out my problem was that I didn't wipe the data/cache when I flashed a new rom. Are you doing that?

Yes I am haha ....but if I wipe the cache now would it help? Or do I have to load a Rom all over again and start from the beginning ...

Did we go through this before? Or was it another member that I had replied to?

Anyway, are you running any task killers?

I suggest to do a full wipe and flash on a new ROM, but do not restore any of your user apps. Just run the base ROM for a while to see if you still are having this reboot problem, since you say that it happens mostly when you're on the phone. If the problem persists then it's something on the phone. And if no problem then it's probably one of your apps that's causing the reboots.

I'm running no task killers ...i flashed all the basic roms I have been running a fresh one for the past week n deleted all the rogue apps except for need to have apps ...I always delete cache and wipe everything before every flash of a new Rom ..I don't use rom manager to flash I do everything manually like u guys taught me....idk nothing is working

Did you restore any apps at all? If so try running with no app except what came with the phone and see if that fixes it.

Tweebee It may have been me. I had the same problem and I found out it was the theme I was running(edited Viva Cyan). I tried a new install then installed apps a couple at a time till I had restored all with no reboots. Then I tried the theme and BANG.... reboots galore..

So I would try just a fresh install with no user apps for a day and see if you get any reboots. then add a couple apps at a time to see. You could also try a new battery but check your temps on it after a reboot and see if it's hot. If not, I doubt that's the problem

I watched the temps all the time and nothing out of the ordinary . I tried the no apps idea when this first happened it still continued to do it. There's nothing that sets it off so I cant even trigger a reboot...its just a wait and see...I wish it was like Windows like when it restarts by itself or it loses power it tells you when it restarts . If this restarts in my pocket I would not know the difference after rebooting u know?

Anybody else thinking I should just unroot it and go back to stock and see if it still continues to do this and then go back to Big Red and see if they can hook me up with something else if its still restarting....maybe its some internal problem....Its just I have the Amoled screen and although there is probably only a slight difference I feel like I shouldn't lose this one and I shouldn't ask for a replacement. what to dooo what to dooo
