email forced close

I am brand new to incredible--what is a forced close? when i delete emails-i go to the inbox and hit menu then i check the ones that I want to delete and hit delete--i get an error message that says that something has failed and the email has to "force close". What does this mean?--tks--cw

It's a process or an app that's been forced to close by the OS. As far as what was closed specifically, you have to read the Force Close (FC) message that popped up.
