People / Contacts problem.

I've got over 1,200 people in my my "People" / "Contacts" folder, (synched with Gmail) each with tons of info. I've noticed lately that when I go into one of them, and make a change or two, then go back to check, that the "change" was undone and the info reverted back to what it was prior to making the change. (Specifically in the "Notes" portion of the Contact). If I repeat the process it will probably "stick" the second time I enter the info. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Do you have other sync setup like Backup Assistant for example?

Not that I'm aware. How can I check?

Menu => Notifications => Settings => Accounts & Sync

No, back up assistant is NOT checked.

Any other help/ideas on this would be appreciated. Strangely, after I put the info in the "second" time, it usually sticks. Why the heck do the changes not stay the first time???

Do you have multiple Gmail accounts setup to sync with your contacts maybe?

Just syncing to a singlea gmail account.
