Thank you for replying enlightened, I justwas doing a backup/restore using ROM Manager and behind it looked like it was doing an ota, but I am not sure. It has the same icon as the SuperUser Permissions App does. it has sms bulk, sms timer, sms backup, sms fraud, sms hidden, sms fire, sms toast and sms forward.. I have no idea what these are, if there are just about text messaging or what, and if so why would it have the same icon as the SU Permissions?
I have not flashed any ROM's to my phone that I am aware of. Well I guess I do, as I went into ROM manager and then it is going through a list or ClockWorldMod Recovery v2.5.0.5, then it is backing up boot, backing up recovery, and backing up system, and now going through a list of items and again in the background it has that OTA looking updater in the background.

As I said I just wanted to get the tethering and the phone to work with sites like hulu. I don't know enough about flashing ROM's and the guide didn't help me and I am technically inclined to a degree. As far as computers go... I work on a mac and have been trained to troubleshoot them up to Snow Leopard. Can you tell me what the current OTA is?
