    Can i go to Verizon?

    i have a htc incredible and i was wondering if i could go to the verizon store to get my incredible updated to 2.2 froyo because im still on 2.1.

    Interesting. I was pretty sure by now 2.2 had been pushed to every Incredible. Yea definitely take it in. What does it say when u press About phone > System updates ? does it say "Your system is currently up to date"

    If your not rooted why wouldn't you be able yo go to verizon? Maybe they'll give you a replacement phone. backup all your stuff just in case

    Yea..well I really don't know for sure if I'm rooted or not because I got this off of eBay..but it does say the my system is up to date..?

    Nope not at all...I guess I gotta take it to Verizon but I heard 2.2 has lots of problems..?

    Main problem is lag. Besides that, Froyo is great.

    Especially if you like Flash support.

    Search some froyo features... if you it's worth it to you, go to verizon and have them push it for you.

    But if you like the smoothness of your phone currently, I'd keep it the same.

    Yeah they can manually push it to the phone, as long as its not rooted that is.
    I'm sure you could manually update it as well. Keep everyone posted. The help here on the forum is unlimited.
