Power Button sticking

Anyone have problems with their power button? My power button has started to "stick". It doesn't pop out right away after I push it in and i can't always turn my screen off unless i wait for it to come out so I can press it again.

seems like a bad idea that HTC made this button specifically for turning the screen on and off and i'm already having problems with it.

just wanted to let everyone know that i called a couple of stores and one of them called in the replacement for me. they just received these procedures on replacing phones and i have a new phone in my hand right now. it got delivered early this morning (5/11/10) so the shipping only took a day.

Did you drop some glue on it already? If the phone came that way out of the box, I'm pretty sure Verizon will replace it for free... As long as you didn't do it...

nope, it hasn't touched anything. nothing has gotten in there either.

it works when the cover is off but when i put the cover back on, that's when it starts to stick.

Take it back to Verizon. They should replace or fix it with no problem.

They wont be getting any in stock until at least Thursday so i would recommend going to the store and telling them whats wrong, they wont have any in stock so they will set up to have one sent to your door within a few days.

yup, already went. i'm due for a replacement whenever they get some in.
