Which OS is your PC on and make sure you have uninstalled HTC from your PC.

Look for it anyways. It is a sneaky bugger. If it isn't there try the tool again but this time start tool, plug-in phone then enable usb debugging in that order.

Is it seeing the phone at all? Like is it starting and then hanging somewhere? If so where exactly?

Using Double twist?? If not I know its a pain but uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. Trying to narrow done what is going on here.

And when you said you got the OTA from here where you rooted before? And did you flash this OTA with the stcok recovery?

Mo, 2 things I can think of off the top of my head. After downloading the driver file, did you go into device manager and install the drivers directly by searching for the location on your computer where they're downloaded? Did you make sure your card is formatted to FAT32 if you're using the one that came with the phone (2 GB)? Okay, I lied- 3. When your phone was connected as a disk drive, did you search for HTC sync on the actual phone (not just on your computer)?

Also one more thing make sure you have the phone on charge only. Not as a disk drive. Sorry I forgot to mention that.
