Well this stupid thing has gotten its self into another boot loop and this time nothing I do will clear it! even tried a hard reset and I can't even get logged into the phone to activate it. I just pulled the SD card to see if that helps. Verizon is going to replace it, it us sure frustrating though
Pulling the SD card didn't help!!
Oh yeah, bone stock phone recieved on July 16
really, nobody has ever seen or heard of this?????
Chris
I have not heard of this with stock everything. If you are in fact stock, then I would definitely bring it as is to Verizon. No doubt they will see the issue.
Only thing I can offer is that these issues are not typical of this phone/OS. I know this and a couple of bucks will get you a decent cup of coffee, but it is all I have to offer.
Hang in there and you will eventually get what most of us have.

Chris[/QUOTEI have been having problems with my HTC incredible ob the Verizon Network for weeks now. Initially I had memory problems even after I confirmed that I have significant free memory. Three day's ago after starting my phone up I got the Boot Loop problem where the phone is constantly in boot up mode. You can even find videos of this problem on YouTube:
I called Verizon and they had me do a hard restart and I lost all my data including phone settings. After they helped me set up the phone again they could bot get me connected to the 3G network again. They are shipping me a new phone. The Verizon customer rep said they are also having problems with the new Android 2.2 OS.
Got my new phone on friday. For some reason the old one started working again after a hard reset at home. Figured it would be OK till the new on got to me but on the way out to the lake to play the thing boot looped again. After the new one came we went out to the lake again and it did not do it.
It sure looks like it is a service area related issue. The trip out to the lake has very poor service and thats when it looped. The new phone got 2.2 almost as soon as I activated it so I couldn't tell if it was an issue with 2.1 or 2.2. We will see how it goes
