Where does HTC's Mail app keep it's data?

...and get I even get there on a non-rooted phone? I've been using MailDroid for about a month now, and I have no accounts set up in HTC's stock mail app anymore, but apparently I left data behind since when I go to Manage Applications and sort by size, HTC's Mail is using the most. So, any way to clean it up?

I wish there was a CCleaner or MemMaid for the Android platform! Why haven't we seen that app yet?
