Is it bricked or what
I went running this morning and during my cooldown Pandora just stopped running. I looked at the phone and I couldnt get past the swipe login screen. I also tried the menu button. It was like th phone was partially frozen. I say partially because the bar on top kept changing and said cardio trainer was still recording. I got home, pulled the battery and started it back up but it wouldn't go passed the HTC Incredible screen (the first screen). I even did the power volume down where it gives me the ability to go to recovery, but it again locks on the HTC Incredible screen. I have just been pulling the battery each time. I do have S-off and it is rooted. I dont know if maybe Ijust got too much sweat on it and it needs to dry out but I am getting kind of nervous. Please help.

I would just pull the battery for a period and let it dry/cool off. I had my phone go dead on me a while back (before I was rooted or s_off even existed). It am pretty sure it was heat related since I was in direct sun using a black case at temps above 105 in the shade. It let it cool down and all was good

I hope so as well but not sure since you can get to certain stages. Still worth a shot though. So you are able to get to the recovery option, but when you select recovery it stops at the then following HTC screen?

Yes it stops at the first screen. I am going to let it cool/dry for a little longer and then try it. I did notice some sweat on the inside up near the speaker and the headphone jack. Never really thought of sweat penetrating the phone.

Ok it has been over an hour and I tried to start it and it is still getting stuck on the same screen. It has been on that screen for over two minutes. Should I let it sit longer and cool or am I (is it) toast?

Do you have any other ideas? Should I try to let it sit longer? It is still getting stuck on the first screen during start and even when I try to recover.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know what else to do.

you don't have a hard brick because you can get into the bootloader and you can get to a system screen (in your case, a boot logo) try to contact doug piston, he knows a good bit about this kind of stuff. He had a soft brick when he was messing with the s-off tool. He recovered his device, so your device still has plenty of hope.

You can get to recovery, that's a good thing. Have you tried to restore a nandroid? What ROM are you running?
