Email Disappearing
All my email keeps disappearing, every time I recieve a notification that I have new mail and I got to look at it, as soon as I open the email app I see the email disappear right before my eyes. Just got my phone on the 22nd of July. I'm rooted and running the new Froyo leak that was downloaded today. Can somebody help me?

I received this phone mid-July. It worked fine until the software update at the end of July. That is when I started losing emails. I have three different Pop3 email accounts (Mediacom, Gmail, Company email) and they all lose emails. One will lose all email around 7-8am. They will continue to simply vanish throughout the day. Come 5pm the emails will stay until the next morning. Another account will randomly lose emails at any time. I've been to the Verizon store multiple times with no sucess. It has been set back to factory defaults. They even replaced the phone. None of this started until after the upgrade at the end of July. HELP!
Radio: Baseband Version 2.15.00.07.28
Kernel: 2.6.32.15-gb7b01d1 (htc-kernel@and18-2 #1)

First question is why would you set up Gmail as a Pop3 account? Second one is whether or not your company e-mail is on an Exchange server.

Total newbie here. I just set up a new Gmail account to see if it would lose emails like my two other accounts. It does. I don't know if Gmail is a pop3 or not.
The company email is not an exchange server. It's a pop3. We are a very small company. It's my understanding that my cable and internet provider (Mediacom) is also a pop3.
Again, this all started after the SW upgrade at the end of July.
Thanks,
Mark

Hang on- back up a minute. Do you mean update at the end of August (as in Froyo upgrade) or something you got immediately after activating the phone?
-
The update occurred a couple weeks after I got the phone. Right at the end of July. (I don't know what Froyo is... I really am a total newbie. LOL)

Deferring to someone who has dealt with disappearing e-mail... By the way, Froyo is Android 2.2; most people got the update at the end of August/ beginning of September. I'm not quite sure what update you would have gotten at the end of July though. Hmm... :baffled:

Radio (listed as baseband on that same screen) is 2.15.00.7.28, correct?
