That really sounds like something on their end. It would be an MMS and they would have to be set up to use mms messages. Some do not have this option which is why people can actually have using with programs like "Handcent" if they check the option to convert to MMS at a certain size. I have a coworker that does not have MMS options enabled so he cannot receive any that are sent to him.

Yeah i got to test this out. My brother has a 16GB iPhone 3GS so i got to see if he receives pic messages from me when he gets back from Vacation.

The same thing happens with me, but sometimes I send it as a normal picture attachment, and if they don't get it, I send it as a slideshow.

Re: picture message help
This much is true. Well depending on if you prefer ease of use or customization.

Hi...
I had the same problem but to correct it...i would send it or, have to send it by editing the picture first and then it goes through.
After i've done this i haven't had a problem since...

Can anyone tell me why VZW limits the picture size to 1.2Mb on MMS? I mean come on.....what good is having an 8meg camera if you cant send a picture over 1.2Mb. Im pretty sure its because VZW doesnt want to bog down the network but it gets frustrating when I take pictures and when I send them and it's too big, it resizes the picture, and reduces the quality. I have my camera set on 3meg and some pictures I take are under 1.2 and some are over that so now I have it set on 1meg. I know I can email them, upload them via facebook or just mount the sd card to my laptop but its much easier to just send them via MMS.
