How do I access pictures on my phone from my computer?

I can't figure out how to access the pics on my phone from my computer. I plug my Incredible into my computer via USB cable. first off I get a message on my computer saying it couldn't install the hardware or there was a problem installing it. Although when I go to windows explorer there is a drive letter that is my SD card. I click on it and see a bunch of folders. The only problem is I don't see any pics. There is another drive letter that seems to be my internal memory. I can see folders there also that seem to by system/phone folders. I don't see any pics in these folders either.

When I'm in the camera settings I do have it set to Storage Card. I guess that is my SD card. If I go to a picture I have taken and long press on it and choose Details it gives me the pic name like IMAG0068 and a file path of \100MEDIA. I just can't find that \100MEDIA folder anywhere in windows explorer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just a few questions needed....

Did you install the correct driver for your version of windows? Maybe install HTC Sync to allow you to connect to it? And one other thing, are you selecting Disk drive when you plug it in?
