Incredible randomly calling friends?
I have never heard of this happening with a phone, but it's happened to me now 6 times since the launch date, and on 2 different Incredible phones.
What happens is my phone randomly calls people (only 2 people). They both have Verizon, one has the Droid and one has an enV 2. An example was the other night when my phone is charging on my end-table and i'm on Facebook, and my buddy Josh popped up on Chat and says "Your phone is calling me again bro" so I look over at my phone across the room and it says "Josh calling" but on his phone it says "Mitch calling".
I figure it can't be Verizon, because I had an LG Voyager before my Incredible and have never seen this happen. I thought it might of been a defective phone, so when I got my replacement it would hopefully be fixed. I'm now left with the assumption that it's an app or a settings fault.
Has anyone ever dealt with this or heard of it? I told the Verizon tech about it at the store and he was rolling, said he'd never heard of something like that happening. It's happened to me 5 times with the friend with the enV 2, and once with the friend with the Droid.
EDIT: I just installed an app called "Call Confirm" in hopes of stopping this. I doubt it'll help though, because when this problem occurs, it comes up as an incoming call on both person's phones. :/

I'd start to complain when it calls strange women that you cannot explain away, calling friends, that's ok.

Haha, not when it's 4:00am and these friends have to get up for work. xD

Pretty strange problem you have there, never heard of it before. It sounds more like an application or setting then a phone problem because it doesn't seem to be wide spread.

Maybe a virus?

Would it be possible for a virus to do something like that? Seems pretty strange.

Makes sense but still seems strange being able to access your phone to call people.

Not just random people, the same person over and over throughout the course of 2-3 months, and only you once, Nate.
It has happened before and after root, and on both phones. I don't tweak settings, and I have all Market apps with the exception of Superuser from unrevoked and Dropcap2 (been happening long before I rooted or had Drocap)

We need to narrow this down. You should delete all your applications and see if it still happens.
