    Could using this stronger batterry have messed up my phone's charging ability?

    Many of you may have seen my post in the General Discussion section where I say I'm getting my third Incredible soon.

    I was thinking about my second one, and I was wondering, is it possible that the phone's ability to charge was fried by the battery in there?

    It's an official HTC Touch Pro battery 1500mah and it fits in the incredible. It ran fine for a few days before the problem occurred. Is it more likely that my device was defective or the battery did it?

    Because it is an HTC product and it fits in your phone, I'm leaning towards the phone being defective but I am not completely sure.

    also there are plenty of people that are using the 3500 mAh Seidio battery with out any issues
