Duplicate contacts

Is there a way to merge duplicate contacts added when my old BB was synced and then gmail Premier apps was also synced.

i had the same issue. i just deleted all of the duplicates. this could be a big issue if you have a great deal of contacts. You could go into the accounts tab in settings and uncheck the sync contacts on the google account.
